With over two decades of experience shaping best-in-class hospitality brands, Cory specializes in brand strategy, concept development, and marketing for hotels, restaurants, and experience-driven businesses. He leads projects from early-stage visioning through to launch, with a strong track record in openings and brand transitions. Cory’s approach aligns business objectives, customer experience, and brand expression to create concepts that are both compelling and commercially sound.

After early hands-on experience in the restaurant world with a number of pre-opening positions, Cory found a unique role within Viceroy Hotel Group, working on new hotel development & transitions with a specialty in pre-opening operations, guest experience, and service design. He then started his own consultancy where, in total, Cory has been a part of the launch of over twenty hotels and restaurants, from independent boutique properties to rapidly growing restaurant groups. Recently, he had an in-house role as Head of Marketing, PR & Creative for Sustainable Restaurant Group, growing two brands nationwide with over fifteen locations.

Now, Cory is focused on building his own concepts, as well as consulting on brand strategy for a number of inspired, hospitality-minded companies. He most recently opened his marquee hotel project, The Madrona, in Healdsburg, California and led the reintroduction of legacy restaurant group, Izzy’s Steaks & Chops, in San Francisco.
